Poem at Damselfly online

My poem entitled “Not an Elegy” is posted today at Damselfly Press’s online literary magazine, as the third of 3 poems that all seem to explore the concept of “not-ness.”  It’s an interesting grouping, and I very much admire the 2 poems that precede mine!  I’m honored to have my piece included.  (See link at the right.)

Damselfly is a nice little press that also publishes chapbooks by female poets.  It’s editors are a group of young women who appear to have met through the MFA program at Chatham University in Pittsburgh.  If you like my poetry, you might check out some of their authors.  Joyce Sutphen’s book, First Words, is one I use a lot with my Creative Writing students, as its pieces are entirely about childhood.
